Big Brothers Are the Best......................
Never in my wildest dreams did I think would have "3" boys!!!! What a wonderful plan it turned out to be....the three love each other so much and it shows each day. The older two are so kind and playful with the little guy. And the little guy is amazingly respectful of the older ones "space". The age arrangement couldn't be more perfect! I would highly recommend a gap between children. Things happen before our eyes everyday with the baby that make the 4 of us better more patient human beings. Love spills out all over..........thank you boys!
Listening to brother's music........I love it! Oh, how I want to touch that guitar! No way, says Preston!

BRRR!!!! Back to the arctic weather...........
How cute is this little tobagan man??? Calling for more snow and ice in the next couple of days! Sure glad I've stocked up soup makings and maybe whip up a few muffin and cookies for the kids! Try out this white chili recipe! It is yummy!
1 bag dried white navy beans
5 cups chicken stock (Maybe a little more, you can tell if you need it)
1/2 stick butter
1 tbls minced garlic
3/4 cup diced onion
1 1/2 cups chopped green chilies (fresh or canned)
1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts finely chopped
1 tbls ground cumin
1 tbls dried oregano
2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp white pepper ( couldn't find this)
pinch red pepper flakes
1/2 bunch cilantro chopped
Boil chicken breast and reserve stock. Chop into pieces.
Rinse beans well, cover with cool water, and soak for 2-3 hours. The longer the better. Watch you will have to add water often. Put the beans in large pot with the chicken stock and bring to a boil over high heat.
In a saucepan, heat the butter over medium heat. Add garlic, onion, and chiles and saute for 5 minutes. Add chile mixture to pot with beans. Add chicken, cumin, oregano, pepper, white pepper, red pepper flakes, and cilantro. Lower heat to medium and cook. Stir occasionally for 1 1/2 hours until beans are very soft.

OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Percy pulled my hair out~! Poor Griffin, got the battery operated Percy wound around his hair so so so tight, I had to "cut" it out. Boo hoo................ I know this hurt~ it was so close to the scalp, I had to get fingernail scissors to get under it....no way to unwind it!!!! Let's hope he doesn't pull that little trick again~!

*This cold, snowy weather.....
*My new bag of Hazelnut coffee from DayBreak in Lubbock....the absolute best!
*White chocolate covered strawberries!
*Squirt icing in a can for cupcakes...with different settings...wow!

*Trying to book hotels at Pebble Beach for the U.S . Open, and everything is full!
*Stripping the baby's crib sheets when he opens his milk and pours it out...!@!!
