Dude....winter is creeping.....up........on.....us.......

So it's the week before the "fall back" time change......and I'm taking it

all in....our garden is thriving and tomatoes are abound.......

the grass is green and ready to rest.......

the flowers are loving the cooler weather and the blooms

are bigger than ever........

the skies are clear and the air is crisp......

the leaves are starting to fall......

time to make sure everyone's fleece pullovers are ready to grab.....

soup recipes are filed in front....

firewood is in place....

UGG boots are ready to slide on......

spice tea and hot cocoa mixes are on the shelf.......

and Xmas lists are in the making.......

Minecraft Mommy Mania.................

Griffin decided he wanted a "Minecraft" party........well I looked on 

Pinterest for party ideas.....and my computer started smoking!

Not to mention my brain!  I was completely overwhelmed!

How was I going to pull this off?  When my husband kept saying, you remember

last year, honey, when we did a movie party AT THE CINEMA!

So I started making a plan.  I was on a mission.  I was afraid that I couldn't come up

with enough ideas of things for the guests to do........

we had pumpkin rolling contests, bobbing for apples, broomstick relays and

when it was all said and done, the kids just loved PLAYING!

Isn't that what kids are supposed to do......no one got hurt and their feelings

hurt....this group of kids are amazing......most all of them go to school together 

everyday and are like family.  Griffin is so fortunate to have such

fabulous friends and Mark and I such fabulous parent friendships!

We treasure this special time with all.

Gift bags stuffed with goodies!  Check!!

Gifts galore!  Griffin had so much fun opening his special gifts

from his friends and family!  (How will I ever play all of these

games and oversee all of these incredible LEGO sets????)))

My sweet helpers!!!!!!!  I couldn't have done it without them!!!

Even big brother and Haley got in on the fun!!!!

Bobbing for apples!!!  Everybody was able to snag an apple

out of the bucket!  Talented teeth!

HMMMM.......now that's a thought.......

So you can spell............

A Life changer......he can spell........so now I CAN'T!!!!!  

Gone are the days when I could cuss under my breath and

spell out a "not nice" word......

or talk on the phone with my girlfriends about "important stuff"

and now HE GETS IT!!!!!! 

Reading and writing and spelling are a true miracle.....

And a showstopper.......

Just wondering....are we a ninja, indian chief or just an ordinary

speller in disguise?????????????

I give up...................

It's a fact!!!!!!!  I'm notorious late.......I fly by the seat of my pants........I love to challenge my energy...............and I CAN'T CATCH UP ON BLOGGING...... so I have decided to

forgive myself and just blog "moment memories".........

I have too many things to share to ever get ahead.....so

if I can just stay on pace.......I will be happy!!!!!
