Love , love, love "Flutterby Butterfly" weekend in Grapevine!

I think we are onto yet another "must see" every year.....

Coolest thing, they provide chunks of watermelon on a stick

and you wave it around in the netted area to catch a beautiful

Monarch butterfly!

My precious baby boy is  going to kindergarten TODAY!

As Daddy says......the dream is over........now he

is on a schedule.  No more jetting away for a couple 

of days in the middle of the week..........no more

late nights with Mommy and him sleeping until noon.......

no more spending random nights in the pool until

9:00.......no more catching up on Disney shows that he

has missed...so many favorites like Jake and the Neverland Pirates,

Sophia and Jungle Junction!  (Way to do Disney Jr.!)

But it's all good because we feel blessed to have enrolled him into the Snyder Christian School for

his education and know that he will love it!!!

So I get it!!!!!  I own it!!!!!  I'm only 2 seasons behind on

blog posts.  My only excuse is......................

a graduating college student, a graduating high school

student, and a very busy 5 year old!!!!!

So here goes winter in a flash!

We were very lucky with our ski instructor.

Griffin and he became buddies immediately!

And by the end of a 2 day lesson, our

little guy was riding the gondola and skiing

down "the big hill"!  

So proud!!!!!!!!!

Oh the little "mogul mice".  Funny...he comes out of

the kid zone with goggles down , carrying skis, and announces

he can't SEE a thing!  He didn't know Mommy was

watching and listening.  I cried when I left him at

lessons.  What will I do in about 5 weeks when I 

leave him for Kinder every single day!

Ohhh!  They are happy it's dinner time after

 a long day of skiing.....All you can eat scallops...

at Zeno's.  This is a "must" Italian eatery in

Vail....you have just got to go!
