I Miss My Friends.............................................at this time of the year!

So usually after spring break, we in the teacher world, say it's "all down hill" from here...........kids lose interest.....teachers lose interest........about to embark on the summer routine of coffee, Today show and swimwear on a daily basis.........
After these unusually warm afternoons, I have the bug to miss my dear friends....they are like sisters to me! Maureen, Vickie, Jennifer, Marilyn, Angie, Cindy and Lori! Love you guys and thanks for being my "forever " go-to friends!

Snow Mobile 2010...........101

Luckily one person didn't show up and Bryce got his own snow mobile...........what a break! The guys had a ball for the first year to do this outdoor extravaganza! No broken bones and no broken machines! Way to go us!

Spring Break 2010 Vail, Colorado

Vail Village here we come! The guys can't wait to hit the slopes and I can't wait to hit my favorite shops!


Beautiful area! We love coming here year after year....

Do I look confused? It's not easy being a Mom and wife of guys on the mountain...I am usually not a "worry wart"...but it's a little unnerving.....plus keeping a two year old busy and happy in the village...I better get creative! Thomas puzzle in hand...m&m's stuffed in bag....a couple of prizes here and there...and I've got it made, right??

Wow! Bryce is almost as tall as Preston now! As a matter of fact he's 5' 11" and Pres is 6' 1".........will he pass him??? I think so...

I gave the yearly speech! Please be careful...don't take any chances....rest when you need to....do you have a snack in your pocket.....stay together.....be safe...be safe...be safe....especially because I had just picked up the local paper to see a 13 year old girl died from a head trauma ski accident there yesterday..........gulp!

Eating ice cream to keep busy! It wasn't easy entertaining a two year old all day without his "stuff"! We explored Vail Village to the "nth" degree.....

Feeding ice cream to the dog behind us........there are all kinds of dogs walking around with owners in Vail Village...it is really a laid back cool place to be...

After a nearly 4 hour car ride , in the rain, I guess Griffin gave up that we were ever going to get to Thomas the Train........we had been telling him to take a rest, we are going to ride on Thomas.........take a rest, take a rest, take a rest...

Well he did, in fact, fell asleep the very stop light before Thomas Train at the railway!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, in Grapevine, at the red light before the Depot....I look back and he's out! Out like a light! And it's 3:00!
